Nina Roberts-Ponizil is a designer, maker and stylist currently living in the United Kingdom, splitting time between North Scotland and London.

A passion for fashion design and costume took Nina to Scotland’s Heriot-Watt University where she studied clothing design and manufacture earning a (2:1) Bachelor of Science Hons degree in 2007.

Whilst studying Nina designed an exclusive collection for alternative clothing brand Drac-in-a-box, and co-styled a number of their photo-shoots. Some of Nina's designs have since been published in a fashion book (Goth; Vamps and Dandies, 2010).

After finishing University Nina worked as dressmaker and sales advisor for bridal boutique Wedding Daze, where she was part of a succesful team winning the 2009 VOWS award for ‘Best Bridal Retailer in Scotland‘. Nina also co-styled a bridal photo-shoot for Wedding Daze which featured in a leading Scottish newspaper.

In early 2009 Nina moved to London where she joined fashion designer Ashley Isham as studio assistant, working at London fashion week, in-store at Ashley Isham’s Conduit Street boutique, and hand finished pieces for their London, Paris and Singapore shows.

In Spring 2009 Nina began working as costume seamstress for Europe’s leading Film, TV and Theatre costumiers, Angels; working on the worlds largest collection of costumes. Most recently, in early Summer 2010 Nina decided to concentrate on making bespoke clothing and establishing her own studio... where the work continues.
